Snug Harbor Inn and Cottages Door County

Nice location, and the rooms are extremely cozy and comfortable with everything one would need for their stay, and, reasonably priced! Kay, who works at the front desk was thoughtful, and accommodating. Two nights in a row, I was also able to view the Northern Lights from the Inn.

The people here are so nice and beyond accommodating. The rooms are clean and the view is breathtaking. They really make you feel like your at home. I recommend this place to anyone thats looking to get away or in our case moving 12hrs away from home for work.

A hidden gem we loved our stay at Snug Harbor. Peace and relaxation what is there not to love? Our room overlooked the water. Beautiful sunsets. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room stocked with all kitchen appliances needed to make your own meals. We will be back and 10/10 recommend. Thank you Lori!

It's a little dated and the furniture has seen better days. Otherwise we definitely will be back, in warmer weather. We came at the end of February to see the big ore ships while they are laid up while shipping is c shut down for the season and for a quick getaway. Snug Harbor would be a great getaway if you love being on the water all the time and also fishing. The water's edge is just feet from our door!

Wonderful hotel, easy check In and the room is sooooo huge with a Great Lake view! I drove from Naperville twice & I will definitely come back again!

We thought the price was great! $250 each, for 2 people was cheaper than a hotel for each for 3 nights. We liked the fact that it had a kitchen with the necessary things in it. The skylight in the bathroom was nice. Natural light all day was great. The furniture in our cottage could use some cleaning. One of the front burners wasn't working. If you love a super soft mattress, this one is for you. I ended up sleeping on the sofa the final night, which was comfortable for me. We liked our view watching the pelicans. It wasn't staying in the lap of luxury but fit our needs for the price. We'd definitely stay again.

The Little green cottage was so wonderful. It holds up to six adults. It comes with a baby grand piano. It was so much more than I expected with the park across the street, the beach across the street. It was absolutely marvelous. It is a diamond in the rough. You can't judge a book by its cover. It looks old and tired from the outside but the inside is absolutely marvelous. I can't wait to go back again. I will totally stay here in snug harbor little green cottage again!

Stayed here at Snug Harbor Inn from 8/13-8/18. I was very pleased with my stay. The location is great, close to downtown Sturgeon Bay and also quick to get on the road to adventure around Door County. And being on the water was a delight. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was just right. I found the bed to be a bit firm, but that comes down to personal preference for sleeping. I slept well regardless. The TV had a better selection of channels than the Marriotts and Hiltons I’ve stayed at. And the room had a mini fridge and microwave as well as some utensils and other kitchen items. I only used the fridge though and that was enough. Housekeeping was available on request to make the beds and empty the trash during my stay. And some nights I walked across the street to the bar at the lodge which is open to the public and everyone there was nice. It was also great to sit out on one of the chairs by the water and read. If I return with a group I’d love to have a fire there in the evening. The price was definitely a great value. Snug Harbor Inn will definitely be where I stay every time I visit Door County from now on! Thank you!
